Rest In Peace Michael

I really don't talk about celebrities at this blog but I as kid, I grew up listening to Michael Jackson's music, so his influence was everywhere. I learned how to do the moonwalk watching him perform on tv. What kid didn't want to dance like him in the 80's when his Thriller album came out. I even wanted a red jacket with zippers just like in the 'Beat It' video. He wasn't a god to me but an idol, a man who had highs and lows in his career and life. As any man, they are mortal and yesterday it was brought to the attention to the world, Michael Jackson was one. He has influenced a generation and will to those to come with his music and dancing as he has influenced my childhood. Rest in Peace, Michael.


People gathered in SF at the Ferry Building to remember Michael Jackson and to dance to his music well into the night.
